Living Greyhawk
The 596 campaign year began on August 1, 2006 and ended on December 31, 2006.
Notes
Living Greyhawk products published in 2006 are considered to take place in the year 596 CY. This rule was also respected by Dragon and Dungeon magazine. In a Paizo forum thread titled Appropriate Year for Greyhawk SCAP?, editor Erik Mona asserted that the rule applies in general to all Greyhawk adventure modules:
- "There is an easy formula you can use to determine when any "Greyhawk" adventure takes place within the framework of the campaign timeline. Take a look at the last digit of the real-world year in which the adventure was published. Put a 5 and a 9 in front of it to determine the corresponding Greyhawk Common Year."
