Mastryne is a minor settlement in the Welkwood, centered around a four-towered stone castle.

History

Lord Mastryne has claimed this region, including a 15-mile radius from the east of the Jewel River.[1] Lord Mastryne often leads his men-at-arms and others on raids of the buffer zone in the Wild Coast attack. On some occasions, spies reported that Flame Strike spells[2] were cast on these enemies.

Geography

Castle Mastryne is situtated at the edge of the Welkwood to the southwest of Narwell. It is just outside the jusrisdiction of the Domain of Greyhawk, and just north of the Wild Coast, in the buffer zone. Narwell has a direct road link to Castle Mastryne.

Lord Mastryne has a number of men-at-arms, estimated to be around 50, along with an unknown number of spellcasters.
