The Mikar River has its headwaters in the Lone Heath.

Features and settlements
The Mikar flows southwest from the Lone Heath through the Grandwood Forest, just west of Rel Astra. It joins with the Flanmi River just north of the city of Pontylver.
The Mikar is still considered the western border of the now ruined See of Medegia.
