Lak Ichine is a non-tributary lake in central Hepmonaland.
Description
Set between four cities, Lake Ichine is avoided by people from all of them. The lake is covered with a black, tarty' substance that will not bum. and at night dim lights can be seen above the tar. Anyone who spends too much time near the lake slips into a coma or goes insane.
The remains of a bat-people city press up through the tar on the southern end of the lake.
History
Geography
Lake Ichine is approximately equidistant from Alocoatla and Cuhuetla in the middle of the Centeo Jungle, and Sharbakal and Anatal near the coast.
There are no significant tributary rivers, and Ichine is not a tributary of any notable rivers. It is likely Lake Ichine is an Endoheric lake, or a lake in a "closed" or "terminal" basin with no outlets or tributaries.
