Marsh dwarves are a clan of roughly 200 dwarves who have lived in the Lone Heath for as long as they can remember, though they do not keep ancestral records. They live very differently than most other dwarves, keeping their own calendar, with Brewfest as the end of the year. Like all residents of the Lone Heath, they do not build permanent structures, which also sets them apart from other dwarves, and they tend to move their camps just after Brewfest. They tend to be quite good at predicting the weather.

Environment
Typical physical characteristics
Marsh dwarves are physically identical to other dwarves, with their hearty constitutions and short stature. It is mostly only in their culture that they are different, with the exception that they tend to be longer lived than most other dwarves, most likely because they are known to hibernate for most of the winter, sleeping up to eighteen hours a day.
Society
All of the marsh dwarves come from single clan. They subsist by hunting and gathering, specializing in fishing and trapping small lizards. They tend to pickle their fish and brew thick sweet wine out of gathered berries. The Marsh Dwarves are fastidious about hygiene and bathe in the Mikar, but they wear simple functional clothing, and, unlike other dwarves, do not bedeck themselves in gold. They are more sociable than other dwarves, but are still vigilant and careful with outsiders.
Religion
The Marsh Dwarves do not revere the dwarven pantheon, and do not have any clerics or shamans in their midst. They do, however, have a notable rate of precognition among their people.
Abilities
Notable Individuals
The most well respected member of their clan is an older female dwarf who makes soap from flower extract and animal fats.
