Notes
Most events relating to the invasion of Geoff by giants are dated 584 CY by most sources, including the original Wars and From the Ashes, although the date is not always obvious from the text; and the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer p.49, which states the date of 584 CY. The contrary date of 583 CY appears in Against the Giants: the Liberation of Geoff (1999). This may be interpreted either as an error, or a suggestion that sporadic capture of several settlements took place in 583 and a more systematic conquest in 584.
