Fort Fendawor is a settlement on the southeast coast of Jeklea Bay.
Description
Very little is known about Fort Fendawor, other than it's brief description for the Savage Tide adventure path.
"A thick-walled coastal fortress erected by the Sea Princes who once held dominance in the region, Fort Fendawor now serves as harbor for Sasserine’s depleted naval powers. Few seaworthy ships moor in the natural harbor beneath the fort’s protective ballistae, the majority patrolling the coast and open sea in hunt of pirates. The fiery-tempered Commodore Brandlock (LG male human, fighter 7/legendary captain 4[1]) commands the forces at Fort Fendawor and hold the eradication of piracy in the region as his personal crusade. Unfortunately, his efforts are frustrated by limited men, resources, and ships, as well as misinformation—much of which he fears comes from Crimson Fleet operatives within his own fort."[2]
Geography
Fort Fendawor lies aproximately 12-13 mile east of Sasserine along the southwest coast of Jeklea Bay. It is just across the Emerald River from the plantations dotting the countryside around Sasserine, between the edge of the Amedio and the coastline.[2]
People
Fort Fendawor produces sailors and marines experienced at sea and skilled at fighting pirates.[3]
