WGRX Ivid the Undying p.128 notes that Chelor I, Chelor II and Chelor III ruled for "nearly 30 years", ending only Chelor's defeat at Osson's Ride (583 CY). The date of Chelor I's appointment must therefore be no earlier than 554 CY. Living Greyhawk Gazetteer p.58 dates it to the "mid-550s" and rounds it to 30 years, and p.111 gives Herzog Chelor commanding forces in 577 CY.
The exact date of Chelor I's appointment is therefore probably between 554 and 557 CY inclusive.
