The March of Blerfield is a province of Keoland.

History

The March of Blerfield is one of several western provinces established early in Keoland's history by Oeridian settlers.

Geography

Borders

The March of Blerfield is located centrally in the Kingdom of Keoland. It is bordered to the west by the Good Hills; to the north by the March of Middlemead; and to the east by the Earldom of Linth; with a small connection in the southeast to the Barony of Sayre.[1]

Major settlements

The capital of the March of Blerfield is Granforth, located centrally in the province.

People

Population and demographics

According to the Keoland Census of 589 CY published by the Living Greyhawk Keoland website, the population of the March of Blerfield is 78,026, including 75,334 humans, 1,369 halflings, 1,231 gnomes, and 92 half-orcs. There also 116,688 poultry and 69,912 meat and dairy.[1]

Government

The March of Blerfield is a feudal province of the Kingdom of Keoland. It is ruled by the Margrave of Blerfield. He is part of the Lords Faction in the kingdom's Court, which supports increased power among the nobility.

Economy

Resources

The central provinces of Keoland are major agricultural districts. It produces a great deal of grain, livestock, cloth, and pottery.

Currency

The March of Blerfield uses the standard currency of Keoland: the platinum griffon (pp), gold lion (gp), electrum eagle (ep), silver hawk (sp), and copper sparrow (cp).
